Thanks to her perfect 20/20 sight that she always had, she was unaware of the optometry profession until she was a sophomore at U.C.L.A.! Dr. Chae was greatly inspired by a story of a female optometrist whom she read about in a community paper. She finds it rewarding to correct patients’ vision using her skills and knowledge, as well as to improve their appearance and self-confidence with the perfect eyewear for each individual.

Dr. Chae is married to a devoted minister. Together, they serve in a local church in Downtown, Los Angeles where her husband is the senior pastor.
